Seed Export Process

 

  1. Determine variety and volume of seed requested.
  2. Estimate air freight or container freight to customer desired port of entry.
  3. Obtain Import Permit from importing country's government agency.
  4. Seller obtains Phytosanitary certificate.
  5. Buyer performs a wire transfer of funds prior to shipment.
  6. Hancock Seed Co., Inc. loads container and air freight with supervision of a USDA agent.
  7. Copies of all documents and certifications are provided to freight company and buying agent prior to shipment.
  8. Shipment is sent to customer.
